Christchurch Music Festival

On Wednesday 30 October, many primary students gathered at the CBS Arena from various schools to perform at the Christchurch music festival. An amazing concert consisting of two special choirs, the massed choir, an orchestra, concert band, recorder ensemble and skilled conductors. The room buzzed with excitement and exhilaration. The children were ready to give the performance of a lifetime! The lights flashed vividly on stage and the concert began with a resounding cheer.
   After an introduction from Richard Oswin, the audience and choirs stood for the opening song, God of Nations. The concert continued through the massed songs and was quickly followed by the junior and senior special choir's performances. We then had interval and the second half of massed songs before the ending speech and the night was concluded a great success.
   Overall, the Christchurch Music Festival was a fun, exciting and amazing experience that I will never forget.
